Now this should be some interesting reading down the line.

We do have some fun together don't we?
Not sure if the concert was a "gold mine" of opportunities..more like a rhinestone/polyester/bad hair kind of evening....oh the list could go on.

Wonder what people thought of us? LOL

Hi Cindy,

I make it to various parts of Italy about twice a year working with my Italian client. I am also spend a little of a month with them on their cruise ships. I love the people, food, and country. I am right there with you!

Ah, citrus. I always loved having those trees in California. I recommend you try the dwarf varieties. You'd be surprised how big those will get. The regular sized trees can get quite enormous. You'll have room for more varieties if you plant the smaller trees near your new home in Florida. Speaking of the farming heritage in this area of Ohio, I'm sure it won't surprise you that a certain ex objected to me plainting vegetables in the yard because I would "turn it into a farm." Now I have a lovely garden that is the envy of many. Just today I read yet another article in the ABJ about the urban gardening movement spreading across the country because bad food is killing people and the REAL, fresh produce is not only good for you but it is cheap. And as you point out Geri, growing plants feeds the soul.

Growing plants and creating food dishes along with art are always a great way to feed the creative needs of one's soul! As one who grew up in Medina county and knew Summit Mall as the first mall in the area and route 21 as the first "highway" from the 50s, the Montrose/Bath area was all pretty much farmland then! In fact we all could be heard as adults who had returned to the area after college saying to each other "if we had only bought a couple of acres" back then! We could have turned a pretty profit! The Rosemont Country club must have made a mint when they sold their property! Happy gardening! I miss hostas! Going to plant my own citrus in the back area though! That will be exciting!

Great blog stuff! Thanks for the links! You have amazing friends!
My great people observing experience came from a gal (think clerical) at the hospital who I was with when another employee came into view. The "other employee" who was a psychologist, would enter your space and size you up head to toe, take mental analysis notes in 3 seconds flat and never miss a beat in talking about some other subject. She was of Greek heritage and her dress that day was colorful as always and there was alot of jewelry, gold, bracelets, earrings, a pin, rings this day. The clerical gal waited until we had both observed the experience, looked at me and calmy stated-"when in doubt, accessorize!"
